Own the Physics Today Digital Archive: Get permanent access to more than 50 years of authoritative features and groundbreaking research from the world's most influential physics magazine

The American Institute of Physics now offers a one-time payment option for perpetual access to the online backfile of Physics Today, AIP’s flagship magazine. This new product, the Physics Today Digital Archive, contains more than 50 years of seminal articles and fascinating features going back to the first issue in 1948. While a regular subscription to Physics Today includes a five-year backfile, the Physics Today Digital Archive gives you permanent access to all content older than five years.

Every year, the oldest year of the five-year backfile included with current-year subscriptions will roll into the digital archive. In 2010, for example, the archive will add all 2004 articles. Those wishing to purchase the Physics Today Digital Archive have two options for accessing the content. You can choose long-term access via AIP’s Scitation hosting platform, which allows users to link to a wide range of related content and valuable features, or you can choose a local-hosting option for your institution’s own network.

Physics Today has covered world-changing events from the discovery of the transistor to the launch of Sputnik to the prospects for renewable energy in this century, while contributors have included such Nobel laureates as Richard Feynman, John Bardeen, Felix Block, and Philip Anderson. Give your patrons the key to this rich historical record – purchase the Physics Today Digital Archive today.
